For those of us still longing for a digital nomad lifestyle, what could be more fun than an extended vacation in one of the best long-term Airbnb rentals? Places like Panama, Estonia, Costa Rica and Paris are made all the more special when you have a luxurious space to return to after a day of exploration. Not to mention, design features like wrap-around balconies allow you to take in the sights before even leaving your living room. Depending on the destination, you may come across solar-powered units or treehouse-style constructions. The common denominator among these properties is that these Airbnb hosts cater to the long-haul traveler who likes to have more amenities than typical short-term stays. Here are 13 of our favorites around the world.

Views of the Caribbean Sea while lounging in a private pool? Yes, please. The archipelago of islands Bocas del Toro, Panama, are home to a luxury long-stay gem: The island of Bastimentos and the Red Frog Resort. Book a long-term stay in one of their high-end villas, like this two bedroom unit that comes fully stocked with a chef’s kitchen, in-unit laundry, and upscale amenities like the private pool and personal golf cart to get around the jungly property.

Take a seaside break along the beautiful Baja California peninsula in Mexico. La Paz is a home away from home getaway for those who love outdoor excursions—you can walk or bike the malecón (boardwalk), shop arts and crafts markets, or dive and snorkel with whales and sea lions. We think the Vista Coral condo is a fitting luxury stay in La Paz. Picture crisp and airy design elements, stainless steel appliances in a chef-style kitchen, and upscale amenities like a sprawling private deck, jacuzzi, and BBQ grill. Take advantage of the king-size bed in one bedroom, two queen beds in the other, and convenient beach access leading from the front entrance.

Planted on the island of Exuma in the Bahamas, the Starlight Villa at Fowl Cay is a fitting choice for those that like to be surrounded by nature as they fall asleep. The villa is composed of three treehouse-style pods that are connected by decks. The floor-to-ceiling windows afford sweeping tropical views of the island’s Major Harbor area. This vacation rental is equipped with a full kitchen; outdoor grill area; patio furniture; and indoor and outdoor showers.

Next on our list of stays is one of the best long-term Airbnbs in Paris. Whether you’re choosing to spend time on a solo trip in France, living the digital nomad life, or exploring the city for a visit with friends and family, the Summer House in Paris is cozy and intimate. The three-level home contains three bedrooms and six beds—including ample space for visitors (especially when you consider the rooftop terrace with a dining table for four and lounge chairs to catch vitamin D).

When you’re going on vacation with a large group of family or friends, a five-bedroom Airbnb in Jamaica fits the bill—especially when the accommodation has sweeping ocean views and a strip of private beach. The bedrooms have beautiful four poster beds, workspaces, tropical themed bedding, and expansive windows in the en suite bathrooms for gazing while washing up. Lounge chairs at the private pool and on the beach ensure you’re catching the Jamaican sunset in comfort.

Check-in to this whimsical two-bedroom terra-cotta villa in Costa Rica where most of the interior furniture is built from acacia wood. The property is perfect for an extended stay with its neutral designed beds, couches, and dining sets in the living area. Meanwhile, the wooden piping along the exterior doors and roof gives a serene touch throughout the living space.

Overlooking Clifton Bay in Cape Town, the Cliffside Villa offers the opportunity to soak away a day’s adventures in the jacuzzi or have breakfast while the sun comes up over the hilly vista. The design elements are crafted by local artists and the light and airy furnishings complement the elevated construction. The solar-powered home also has a lap pool that faces the mountain as well as a private garden with olive trees to relax or have dinner with friends and family.
